Climb gradually from Lima's desert coast through the Sacred City of Caral to Huaraz and Caraz. The plan includes a gentle day to adjust to the altitude before one visit to the Llanganuco lakes with an authorised operator. Laguna 69 and multiday treks need separate planning and assessment.
