Acclimatise in Quito, then follow Ecuador’s highland corridor through Cotopaxi’s low-level visitor area, the Laguna Quilotoa rim, Baños waterfalls and municipal thermal pools, the lower Chimborazo reserve, and Cuenca’s historic centre. This six- or seven-day journey follows visitor routes and viewpoints; summit climbs, full crater hikes and adventure activities are separate choices.
