Who we link to
These are the only commercial partners the planner ever sends you to, and what each one is used for. We name them rather than showing logos: a logo implies an endorsement, and we would rather tell you exactly where a link goes.
Booking.com
Accommodation in the overnight town for each night of your plan.
GetYourGuide
Tours and activities, offered only on stops that genuinely need booking ahead.
DiscoverCars
Car hire, on driving routes where a vehicle is the assumed way to travel.
Airalo
Travel eSIMs, listed once in the pre-trip checklist rather than per day.
SafetyWing
Travel insurance, likewise a single pre-trip item.
For getting between towns we show one partner per trip, chosen for how that route actually moves and where it goes: Trainline on European railways, 12Go for buses, trains and ferries across Asia, Europe, South America and Africa, and Direct Ferries for island hopping. A bus-and-ferry journey in Vietnam is never offered a rental car, and where we have no partner we can vouch for in a region we link nothing at all rather than send you somewhere with no inventory for your trip. On a shoestring budget we suggest Hostelworld for the towns it actually covers, and Booking.com everywhere else. Most overnight stops on these routes are small towns with no hostel at all, and a link that promises beds and finds none is worse than the one that works.
What this does not change
Sponsored links are marked rel="sponsored". Our itinerary picks are computed from curated data and your preferences, commercial partners cannot buy placement in them. No partner has any influence over which places are selected, what order they appear in, or how many days a route is said to need. If a stop is in your plan, it is there because it fits the day.
