Spend two days exploring Salvador's historic streets and Afro-Brazilian heritage, then travel through Praia do Forte and Cachoeira to Lençóis, the diamond-era town beside Chapada Diamantina. This seven-day journey needs separately arranged road transport with a driver and time for the long BR-242 approach. The final park visit depends on a confirmed entrance, safe return route and suitable trail conditions; remote hikes and excursions remain optional.
