Wales stacked south to west: the Beacons' whaleback ridges and waterfall gorges, Hay-on-Wye's thirty bookshops squeezed inside a castle wall, and the Elan Valley's Victorian dams where red kites, once down to a handful of birds. Now swirl in their hundreds. Ends on Aberystwyth's Victorian prom at sunset.
