Drive a five-day loop from Seattle through Port Angeles and Hurricane Ridge, Forks with Hoh and a confirmed-open public coastal stop, and Lake Quinault before returning to Seattle. The road route follows Tacoma Narrows and US 101 without a ferry. Recheck park roads, tides, fire warnings, weather and construction before travelling.

When to go

Best months: June, July, August, September

Hurricane Ridge can close without notice and has limited services during 2026 construction. Hoh parking waits can reach two hours in summer. Mora Road and Rialto Beach are closed beyond the campground from 8 July to 15 October 2026, so the baseline uses another confirmed-open public coast stop such as Ruby Beach rather than promising Rialto.
