Drive from Royal Natal's Amphitheatre foothills to Golden Gate's sandstone scenery, with lower forest and river-valley walks, paved scenic loops, short marked trails and dinosaur interpretation. Durban arrival is outside this compact mountain journey, which does not include the Sentinel chain ladders. Access to exposed trails depends on conditions; the plan never guarantees Tugela Falls flow, clear escarpment views, wildlife or snow.
