An eight-day warm-season public-road journey from Christchurch through Lake Tekapo, confirmed-open Aoraki access, Wānaka and Queenstown to Te Anau. It ends at the Fiordland base: Milford Sound, cruises, flights, bungy, ski products and difficult alpine tracks require separate conditions and bookings.
