This loop crosses the High Atlas into kasbah country. Aït Benhaddou's mud-brick towers guard the road, palm oases fill the gorges, and eventually camels walk you into the dunes of Erg Chebbi for a night under Saharan stars. Mint tea appears at every stop, whether you ordered it or not.
