Cross the Atlas with a booked local driver, stopping at Aït Benhaddou, Ouarzazate and Tinghir before reaching Merzouga and the edge of the Sahara. This six-day journey ends in the village; camel rides, desert camps, off-road drives and dune sports require separate arrangements.
