Drive from Vilnius through Trakai, Kaunas and Klaipėda, then take the same car from the New Ferry Terminal across to Smiltynė and continue to Nida. Four days keep the capital and castle together, then give Kaunas, Klaipėda and the Curonian Spit one useful day each. The route ends in Nida and does not imply an exit through Kaliningrad.
