This self-drive gateway links Turku Castle and Naantali's wooden Old Town with Pargas's Gamla Malmen and the church-and-harbour village of Nagu. The same car crosses the free Pargas–Nagu road ferry. It is a short introduction to the archipelago, not the 120-kilometre Small Archipelago Trail or the full 250-kilometre ring.
