- Song-Kul is a high-altitude summer product. Confirm that the pass, final unpaved approach, staffed 4WD, yurt camp and every overnight are operating for the exact date; snow, rain or a local closure can still postpone the lake stage.
- This seven-day loop is withheld outside June–September because Song-Kul's 3,016 m pasture, approach roads and tourist yurt camps are seasonal. Choose June–September or plan an Issyk-Kul-only journey instead.
