Circle Issyk-Kul from Bishkek through Cholpon-Ata and Karakol, with time for Jeti-Ögüz and Kochkor before a summer yurt stay at Song-Kul and the return to Bishkek. This seven-day journey uses a 4WD and driver arranged separately for the whole loop. The high-lake stay needs an open mountain approach and a camp booked for your dates; it is not a year-round rental-car detour.
