Cross Java as a passenger on reserved trains, with a confirmed bus or staffed transfer to Borobudur, a separately booked Bromo caldera day, a separate overnight reset in Malang before the Ijen Ekspres, and an authorised Ijen crater-rim hike before the booked ferry to Bali. The route promises the temples and volcanic landscapes, never mist, sunrise, a sea of cloud, blue fire or an open crater in unsafe conditions.
