Drive a five-day loop from Bariloche through Villa La Angostura and the signed Seven Lakes corridor to San Martín de los Andes, returning on main roads. The November–April journey follows public town centres, lakefronts and safe signed roadside stops. Check current road, fire and weather notices; boats, remote hikes and refugios are separate choices.
