Southeast Asia's grandest waterfall pours over the China border in tiered silk. Ban Gioc, still barely known. At the end of a karst-tower road from Hanoi. Bamboo rafts drift into the spray, Pác Bó's cave holds the revolution's first office, and Ba Be's lake finishes it with dugout canoes and Tay stilt-house homestays inside the national park.
