Begin beside Ashland Creek in Lithia Park, take the legal open-road approach to Crater Lake and its caldera viewpoints, then follow the North Umpqua waterfall corridor to a real final stop in Roseburg. Boat access, Wizard Island and a complete Rim Drive circuit are not assumed.
