Begin in Moshi at the foot of Kilimanjaro, climb by road to Lushoto in the Usambara Mountains, then explore Magamba's forest before finishing among Tanga's Swahili heritage and coast. Four days allow a separate arrival in Lushoto and a forest day. Arrange road transport and any guide required for Magamba access; mountain climbs, long hikes, cave visits and other guided excursions are optional additions.
