Chachapoyas, Kuélap & Gocta: Route Guide
Last updated:

Stay based in Chachapoyas and give the region time: walk the historic centre and Huancas, reserve a complete Kuélap day through Nuevo Tingo and the Telecabinas, then keep a separate day for the 10–11 km Gocta return hike. Five days add Karajía and Quiocta after current access is confirmed; six add Revash and the Leymebamba Museum. Every outing returns to Chachapoyas, and no plan stacks two marquee hikes on one day.
Chachapoyas, Kuélap & Gocta is a 473 km loop (staffed road transport). It works best as 4–6 days; the plan below is the 5-day version for June, built from 6 verified places, with real road-routed transit times, opening hours and daylight checked.

Best months: May, June, July, August, September, October, November
The drier operating window supports the two long outdoor days, but tickets, telecabina maintenance, trail conditions and every road excursion still need a live check.
