Guatemala's highlands hold two of the Americas' great sights: Antigua, a colonial town living calmly beneath three volcanoes, and Lake Atitlán, a caldera lake ringed by Maya villages. Climb Acatenango overnight and you'll watch Fuego erupt against the stars.
