Travel from Accra's independence landmarks to the coastal histories of Cape Coast and Elmina, spend a day at Kakum, then continue inland to Kumasi's Asante heritage. The six-day journey follows public roads and open visitor areas. Beach activities, the canopy walkway, specialist forest visits and festivals are separate choices.
