A measured Périgueux loop through the Vézère prehistory valley, Sarlat and the castle-and-bastide landscape of the Dordogne. The route promises the Lascaux IV facsimile and interpretation centre, not entry to the closed original cave; Font-de-Gaume, canoeing, market days, guided visits and special events remain optional and separately confirmed.
