Four days by car take you from Biarritz's Atlantic seafront to Bayonne's river-lined old town, Saint-Jean-de-Luz's sheltered bay and the fortified streets of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Walk the promenades, harbours and cobbled lanes; surfing, museum and church interiors, food workshops and mountain excursions are optional.
