Travel from Annecy’s old town and public lakeshore to Chamonix beneath Mont Blanc via the direct valley road. Aiguille du Midi and Montenvers each have a separate mountain day, with access dependent on weather and the operator’s timetable. The plan does not promise high road passes, glacier walking or an Italian detour.
