Cambridge’s college exteriors and Backs lead through Bury St Edmunds and medieval Norwich to Wells and Holkham, then King’s Lynn’s Hanseatic waterfront. Take five or six days for public town streets, abbey gardens, harbourfronts and a coast visit in suitable conditions.
