This is the preferred overlap for the three landscapes: Lençóis' official guidance identifies May–September after the rains, while Jericoacoara remains open year-round. Lagoon depth, wind, rain and route access still need a live check.
The route remains viable, but many temporary Lençóis lagoons recede later in the dry season. Plan for dunes and protected landscapes without promising swimmable water, and confirm every road transfer and excursion.
Jericoacoara's wetter months can bring intense rain between sunny periods, while Lençóis lagoons are refilling. Confirm roads, sand tracks, boats and park access; the itinerary never promises clear weather or full lagoons.
