Travel from Brisbane through Noosa and Rainbow Beach to K'gari's sand, rainforest and freshwater landscapes. Continue beyond Rainbow Beach in a high-clearance 4WD with low-range capacity, crossing by vehicle barge to Hook Point. Arrange the access permit and plan beach driving around tides and current track conditions; swimming and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
